In early 2021, hosts Gregg Tilston and Karim Kanji started a segment called Lost Venues. We ask our guests to tell stories of their time playing at music venues that no longer exist.
Retired Toronto carpenter, Andrew Smith, started his own similar series not too long ago. According to a CBC article: The name of his show: Toronto, Lost Music City, is a tribute to bars that are now silent and a poke in the eye of the city’s claim that it is still a live music hub.
So, of course, we had to get him on the show.
